Why Zuren

Balances live everywhere. Understanding lives nowhere.

A checking account, a brokerage, a retirement plan, a card, a loan, some cash. Each shows a number. None shows the whole, how it moved, or what is coming due. Zuren keeps the record in one place and shows what changed, without asking for a single bank password.

The product

Where you stand, and what needs you.

Home opens on one figure with its date, the three things worth your attention, and every account with the age of its balance. Nothing is estimated silently.

One figure, dated

Net worth with the comparison period and how many accounts it counts. The change reads “not comparable” while a counted balance is out of date.

+$83,702.73+38.47%since Oct 8, 2025 · 2 accounts added later aren't counted

What needs you

What changed, what deserves attention and what is due, in one short list with its evidence one tap away. Nothing is marked urgent to make you open the app.

ChangedAttentionDue

Every balance with its age

Fresh is quiet. Older records say how old they are and ask to be updated. Converted amounts show the rate next to the figure.

In the pilot today

A complete picture, kept by hand, explained by Zuren.

The pilot is deliberately manual: you record balances or import a history, and Zuren does the keeping, comparing and explaining.

Accounts and balances

Accounts, cards and loans entered manually, retirement, brokerage, crypto and cash, in any currency, each kept in its own denomination. A Bitcoin address can be watched.

Balance history

Import a balance-history CSV from your bank, or record balances as you go. You see every row before anything is saved.

Bills and repayments

What is due and when, next to the cash you have recorded. Recording one never deducts anything.

An illustrative shared goal$40,000 in 24 months$10,000 + 24 × $1,250 = $40,000Contribution-only: no growth, fees, taxes or inflation.

Goals and the planner

Plain arithmetic on the cash you recorded. Saved goals keep their assumptions, and reopening one rechecks the evidence.

How sureHigh that the balance changed: two records, nothing estimated.Cannot say why: holdings are not recorded, so Zuren will not guess a split.

What changed, with evidence

Meaningful changes, most consequential first, with the recorded figures behind each: what moved, what contributed where that can be determined, and how sure Zuren is.

How it works

Three steps to a picture you can trust.

The first record takes about two minutes; the value grows from the second.

  1. About 2 minutes

    Record an account

Name, type, currency and its balance. Zuren dates the balance and shows how old it is from then on.

  2. About 5 minutes · optional

    Give the chart its past

Import a balance-history CSV from your bank, or update balances as you go. Every row is shown before it is saved.

  3. Weekly, from then on

    Review what changed

Open Home, read what needs you and open its evidence. Note what you decided in the Journal.

Evidence

Every figure can show its work.

Zuren shows the figures behind every change it surfaces — what moved, what contributed to it where that can be determined, and how sure it is. When it cannot say, it says so.

Illustrative example data.

Trust

Clear controls. No blind trust.

Facts about how the pilot handles your information, and which controls are yours.

Read-only by design

Zuren cannot place trades or move money. Creating or editing a record changes nothing outside Zuren.

No bank passwords

Balances are recorded by you, imported from a CSV you download yourself, or read from a Bitcoin address you choose to watch.

Your account stays private

Account access is restricted to its owner, including the underlying financial records.

Your data controls

Download a portfolio export and clear manual accounts from the dashboard. Contact support to close your account; legal and audit retention may apply.

No software is perfectly secure, and this page won't pretend otherwise. Read exactly what Zuren does — and doesn't do — on the security page. Zuren describes your finances; it never advises on them.

What the pilot includes

  • Where you stand — multi-currency net worth, exact to the cent
  • Your sources — accounts, cards and loans entered manually; balance-history CSV; a watched Bitcoin address
  • What changed — meaningful movements with their recorded evidence
  • Why it moved — price separated from holdings, balance from exchange rate
  • What it means for you — changes framed against the answers you set
  • What's coming — repayment schedules and Bills
  • Your data — portfolio export, manual account deletion, and account deletion on request

Questions

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. The pilot works from balances you record, CSV files you import and a Bitcoin address you can choose to watch. Zuren never asks for a bank or brokerage password.

Does Zuren move money or place trades?

No. Zuren cannot place trades or move money. It cannot pay a Bill or transfer funds; you create and edit only Zuren's own records.

What does it cost?

Nothing is charged in this release.

How are other currencies handled?

Each record keeps its own currency. Totals are in your reporting currency, US dollars by default, and the rates used are shown with them. During the pilot the rates are set by hand and are not live market prices.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Download a portfolio export at any time. Contact support to close your account; legal and audit retention may apply. Sending the email does not delete anything by itself: your account stays as it is until support confirms by email that the deletion is done.

Is there a phone app?

The pilot runs in your phone's browser. A native app is in development and is not part of the pilot.

Start with one account.
